Certain services, that are normally provided in the hospital, can safely be obtained at home. If authorised, and the services of the Scheme's Network Providers are used, the Scheme will pay for these services from the Major Medical Benefit.
We pay wound care, end-of-life care, IV infusions and postnatal care services from this benefit.
