Discovery Wellness utilises screening to classify employees according to their health and wellbeing. Insights are provided by Wellness Specialists to help employees understand their risks and improve their wellbeing.
Your company qualifies for a Discovery Wellness Experience once in a calendar year, if you have seven or more employees onsite.
You also qualify for a Discovery Wellness Experience if 50% or more of your employees are members of schemes administered by Discovery Heath and the company has Discovery Life Group Risk Income Continuation and Life Cover benefits.
The Wellness Assessments are funded from the risk Screening and Prevention Benefit for all members on the Discovery Health Medical Scheme.
Members with a Discovery Life Policy qualify for a Wellness Assessment at no cost.
Wellness Assessments for members on other medical schemes administered by Discovery Health are funded from the risk Screening and Prevention Benefit depending on the selection made by the scheme.
An interactive wellness experience
Wellness screenings are important for employees to find out more about their current health and lifestyle risks and based on these findings, provide advice and support. The assessment takes 30 minutes to complete, and employees receive a comprehensive report on their health and wellness after the assessment.

How to book your Discovery Wellness Experience
Speak to your Corporate Health Manager who will assist you to complete an application form and make a booking.
The Discovery Wellness Experience is booked on a first-come, first served basis therefore it's important to book your wellness event in advance.
Our lead time to secure wellness days is 4 weeks.
How to book a Wellness Experience at home
You can schedule a wellness assessment at home online by visiting:

Note that wellness assessments at home is only available within our main metros - Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Durban and Cape Town.
Select the service you require by scrolling down the 'select a service bar' and indicate how many assessments you require.
You will see the available slots populating per week. Once a time and date is selected, you will be prompted to complete your details, accept the terms and conditions and then confirm your appointment.
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an SMS and email confirmation.
Discovery Wellness provides you with compelling content that can be distributed to your employees for additional support and guidance. The health calendar themes are electronic toolkits which can be used with the health calendar dates to encourage and inspire your employees to actively take part in your wellness initiatives.

Discovery Executive Wellness is a personalised experience that provides individuals with support in all areas of mental and physical well-being, through a team of highly qualified experts with access to the latest health and wellness technology. Our risk stratification model allows us to tailor our executive wellness offerings to our clients in accordance with their health risk profile, helping us to fully align with the client's expectations and requirements in terms of location, budget and health risks. Each client will receive a comprehensive confidential report after their screening, while the employer will receive an anonymised report.
01 | Discovery Executive Wellness Comprehensive Medical
This assessment is a two-hour personalised clinical experience. We recommend the comprehensive assessment for executives who are at a high risk of developing medical conditions and need a detailed understanding of a wide range of their health metrics. This assessment is available nationwide at accredited facilities in major metros or as a mobile version at your preferred venue.

02 | Discovery Executive Wellness Core Assessment
This assessment is a one-hour personalised clinical experience. We recommend the core assessment for executives who are at a low risk of developing medical conditions and need a detailed understanding of their base line health metrics. This assessment is available nationwide at accredited facilities in major metros or as a mobile version at your preferred venue.
